ABOUT

Founded in 2012, Run For Our Troops is an annual 5K run/walk 

organized by the Cayce-West Columbia Junior Chamber to memorialize

the anniversary of the 9/11/01 tragedies. The event takes place

each September 11th at the W.M. Rish Riverwalk Park & Amphitheater. 

 

Proceeds from the event support nonprofit organizations that

provide assistance to military veterans and/or first responders.

To Be Determined

There is a possibility that the 9th Annual Run For Our Troops

may not be held in 2020. We continue to weigh the risks and possibilities 

for holding the event in November, which was previously done in 2017 and 2018

in response to the hurricane threats in September of those years.
